DVDs use compression techniques to fit data onto a disc. The compression is
lossy, meaning that bits of information are lost along the way. Put another
way, a fixed amount of space can hold a variable amount of video time
depending on how compressed you make it. The more compressed, the more
information is lost. The video you downloaded is obviously compressed to a
greater degree than "normal", so the video quality will be lower than
normal.
