Now forgive me if this sounds dense, cos it's sounds perfectly plausible in
my mind....
Now the NTSC standard is 400 odd lines....
While the PAL standard is 500 odd lines....
Does it then follow that a PAL disc run through an upscaler would look
better as there is more information for the upscaler to upscale?????
Does that make sense?
Although saying that, i watched R1 "Monsters inc" last night, through my 40
Upscaling dvd player at 1080i into my Hitachi 42PD9700, and i swear it was
like looking in through a window...!!!!Blew my socks off.....Even the other
half noticed and she thinks Nicam Stereo is just as good as DTS!!!!!
