I have a 575 too, the mechanism sucks. It's noisy in standby mode and slow
to respond to the remote. What use is SACD and DVD-Audio when it's drowned
by the sound of the motor? The Scart socket is a notoriously bad fit and the
RGB output is demonstrably inferior to earlier Pioneer players. Colors are
smeared when playing the test patterns from Digital Video Essentials. Except
for DivX and the like I prefer my old DV-430 which was an entry level
player.
