Unlike most of the others on here - i understand your missus .
All shes wants to do is set the channel on the vcr and press the record
button as she knows (and trusts) the method .
Much like in the same way when newbies ask what sort of web authoring
app they should use - the geeks are more interested in saying what they
themselves use and pay scant regard to what the newbie wants .
