OK, "me". [Of course, you meant to say "... it was I."] I'm sorry for the
incorrect attribution. Now, if you were to use a signature ... ! And,
it's hardly my first screw up. I've admitted here to others.

All I can do here is disagree and stand by my initial comment. Keep in
mind this is a "strip" show ... a week's worth done in a few days. The
budget is minimal and the Mixer/Engineer would like to have been afforded
the chance to do it over. The money folks said "NO". There's a great
saying in TV: "We don't want it good, we want it TODAY".

All I can say is, "When you're willing to admit you made a mistake mixing
the Academy Awards, perhaps I'll consider your rant less trivial". By the
way ... my Emmy and Grammy shows were without what you like to call "screw
ups".

At this point, I will remain silent. I will not dignify your pointless
rant with a further response. Except to say "Get a job in the real world
of TV and come back after a few thousand hours on the air live to tell us
about how perfect you are."
