I've seen DVD players for sale that have a special connection cable to
connect to a LCD TV. Is there a noticeable different when playing a
DVD movie using this special connection (can't remember the word for
it, it has 4 letters that start with H)?
There must be a limit to where a DVD movie will reach it's
full video quality. So a LCD TV should display a better picture for a
DVD movie than a tube TV but I'm not certain if using a special
connecton will give an even better quality picture for a DVD movie.
I have a Sony 34 inch tube type of TV and don't notice any
difference when playing back a recording that was recorded in either
SP or HQ mode on my DVD recorder, but I'm hoping that I'll notice a
different on a LCD screen when I update my TV.
Any comments are most welcome
Regards Brian
