Planning to get a FTA receiver (Pansat 3500S or simuliar). Here is what
I would like to do intially for the 1st day or so.
1. Set my big C/Ku dish (working good on C & Ku) on T5.
2. Move my C & Ku input cables (one at a time) to the FTA rec. input.
3. Connect FTA output to my tv.
4. I am using a separate manual polarizer already.
Question: Using only what will already be factory programmed in, will
I be able to pick up at least some of what's on T5 without going thru
all the set up "rig-a-ma-roll" just for a day or so till I feel
comfortable setting up all the other stuff. I know I will have to
manually adjust the polorizer for the various channels. Is there
anything that I MUST do, before I will be able to receive anything fm my
set-up, as I try to step thru the channels on this one satellite
manually? I would like to see at least one channel before I do any
programming. Suggestions will be appreciated. Mac
