Hi,
Premiere exports your edited video INTERLACED , not PROGRESSIVE...
i assume you are exporting in DV to an avi.
When you playback in mediaplayer, itdoesn't do a de-interlace, so you
see all the stripes on motion, this is normal... Interlaced is designed
to be played by a television ( the image is composed of two fields, in
NTSC it is 29.97 Frames second, each frame is composed of two fields
one after the other... fieldA and then field B...)
If your authoring ( final dvd) is playing shaky on a real television
it may be that the FIELD ORDER setting is set incorrectly on either
export to avi in premiere, or your authoring program to dvd... that is
one probable cause of a shaky image on motion...
Also, sometimes, if you export an image to Interlaced and your
authoring program converts it to progressive to put it on dvd... the
way and/or the quality of the conversion may be reflected by an un
natural movement in motion video... usually, it is better to export
interlaced, and author interlaced if the final destination of the video
will be a TV ( interlaced) so to avoid unecessary processes and a
better quality video...
Hope this helps on your issue,
Mig.
