Indeed, while it would be easy to get on a high horse about this and
say that there is nothing you can do as it was her fault for not taking
even the basic of precautions to secure her personal login and credit
card details. However, for a quiet life and for such a small amount,
in this instance a refund of the purchase price not including postage
and packaging charges will end it quickly and without (hopefully)
negative remarks being left for you, provided the DVD is in the same
condition it was sent.
You can then resell the item I am sure and besides we all know you
market-placers make a killing on the standard postage charge amazon add
to purchases in the market place. lol :o) 1p for a paperback and £2.75
postage...outrageous!!
You could offer to speak to her about it on the phone explain that you
will do the refund for her although you are not obliged to as it was
sold in good faith and passwords are there for a reason.
What I think happened: This person buys DVDs watches them and if they
don't want to keep them, makes up cock and bull stories about a 13 year
old son before requesting a refund. I wish it was like eBay and you
could track a persons purchasing history via feedback
