Activation is a tad weird, in my experience. I've re-installed a lot and
had situations were Windows has activated a day after refusing. Just
last month I was forced back to the mobo I bought Windows with, after an
upgrade died, and it refused activation (said something about their
records and too many systems). Last week I bought a new mobo and CPU and
the bloody thing activated without a hitch - so much for their records!
I honestly think it throws a dice on how awkward it's going to be.
