I didn't know this. Got any examples of models? I'd love one that does this,
for a couple of reasons.
Also, are there any DVD players that will stretch a non-anamorphic
letterboxed widescreen movie (like the recent original Star Wars DVDs for
example) so that it fills a 16:9 screen?
Obviously any widescreen TV will do both these things, but having them be a
function of the player rather than the TV would solve a couple of quite
annoying problems for me - assuming they can output in progressive mode.
