These hdmi switchers are a rip-off... the manufacturers are just
overcharging for new technology. You can buy a pioneer av amplifier (VSX1016
with hdmi switching from around 430GBPounds... not much more than an auto
hdmi switcher when you consider the extra value you are getting from a 7.1
amp.
It's about time the set top box manufacturers started intrducing a hdmi
loop-through socket on things like sky hd. Let's hope we get this on
products in the future.
