I'll be the first to admit that I'm a PC guy, but heck, Macs are now
PCs just running a different OS!
Actually over the past year we have become much more Mac knowledgable
and friendly. I feel FCP is a fine choice. I still prefer the
flexibility you get with PCs, but that said, you get rock solid
stability with a Mac. Not quite the trade off it once was.
We still do not sell turnkey solutions. Not Macs or PCs. We leave that
to others who have the facilities to handle it, as well as local on
site support and service. Since there are far more PC otions, that's
going to stay our main focus for the near future. But we are getting
into the Mac side of things more and more. And that is a trend I don't
see going away.
Tapeguy - I think we're fighting a losing argument on this one. So
I'll just leave it as this - ya gets what ya pay for. The lowest price
is not always the best value or deal. Support and service do matter
for many, if not most, video editors. Especially those who intend to
make money doing it.
