Q:How to zip mp3 to my Yahoo space, then unzip it once it's in my Yahoo
directory?
Hello. I'm new at this, so I'll try to explain as best I can. I have
some webspace over in Yahoo/Geocities, and I'd like to upload several
mp3 songs that I wrote and recorded. But I notice that Yahoo/Geocites
won't allow me to upload mp3's over 5 megs. I record my songs on a Boss
multi-tracker that's about 10 years old I think, and I just got started
with Sony Acid Music Studio 6.0. So I don't know if a 3 to 4 minute mp3
song (guitar, lead guitar, bass, drums, vocals) is supposed to be
around 5 megs or much smaller. As I mentioned, I'm pretty new at this
stuff. So I guess that means I must zip my mp3 files before I can
upload them to Yahoo. The thing is, even if Yahoo allows me to upload
zipped mp3 music files, how do I unzip them once the mp3's are on my
Yahoo webspace? Sorry if this sounds pretty elementary, but I've never
done it before. Thanks a lot.
