The only real solution to the overheating problems with many dvd
recorders today is a small box fan. the multi speed 10inch ones do the
job very well. these are the ones i use when using my dvd recorders.
most are pretty quiet. especially the optinus F-1020 that sells for
about 10.00. and i use a air duster can to keep my equipment clean.
don't be fooled by the dvd recorders that have a built in fan. those
tiny little fans don't do didily.
