The birds that DirecTV dishes are pointed to use higher power
transponders - thus the reason why people have had success using a
standard DTV setup with an FTA receiver.
My original question has nothing to with this, however. I'm
specifically asking if anyone has attempted to hook both receiver types
into the same dish at the same time. I appreciate your help, though
it's not answering my question.
