Yes that does.
Unfortunately that is going to restrict you. All professional
camcorders and most with any features are going to be well above $300.
That being said there are a few mini dv camcorders under $300 that will
do the job. Of course you also need a tripod and perhaps some other
accessories.
Mini DV can run up to 83 minute with a professional grade tape. Unless
you go with a Digital 8 camcorder that will also record in Hi 8 you are
not going to get longer than 90 minutes. I would stick with mini dv
because there is no disadvantage and it is much more widely used.
Look for something with the highest resolution and image stabilization
and any other features that are important to you.
