when you say that, i guess you're saying it looks better when you tell the
player to output a progressive signal rather than interlaced - think that
might have something to do with it too ?
remember - you can't invent extra detail that simply doesnt exist - you
could use a pc to upscale to a fantastic resolution of... say 3800x2040 if
you have a good quality large monitor- it still wouldnt offer any new
information.
