Yes, European tv sets have commonly supported (baseband) PAL and NTSC
signals, PAL-60, and 525-line 60 Hz RGB signal (along with the "normal"
625-line 50 Hz RGB signal) for a while now. They don't have NTSC-M
tuners or CC decoders, though.
Modern DVD players are typically multistandard as well.
