There is no objective answer to your question, of course. What matters
is whether you think this such a fabulous movie that you can't stand to
watch it in any other way. For me, I doubt there will ever be a movie
that "requires" me to buy an HD DVD player or Blu-Ray player. For me,
the story is what is important, not the "cool" special effects. If all
that matters to you is killer explosions, then by all means blow
hundreds of dollars to see them in higher definition.
