I've got a few that span more than 1 disk ie LOTR Special Editions,
Godfather Part 2, Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur. At 169 minutes it should
fit on 1 disk, The Godfather does and that is about the same time.
However, I do find that an "enforced" break in the film is useful to
open another beer,
- You musn't sup much if you need a "enforced" break to make you get up to
the fridge!
pop for a piss etc.
- LOL. If I have to go, I am thankful to remote control makers for inventing
"Pause".
Providing the DVD editors put
the split at a useful place or somewhere sensible then I doubt I would
personally complain too much. What would really fuck me off is if the
cut was made virtually where the running time on the DVD ran out.
- It would be funny, if you were "forced" to go for a piss whilst changing
discs, only to find the second disc contains 1 second of scene, then the
closing credits.
Maybe there will be subliminal "blu-ray/HD" messages :-)
