Large parts of the first couple were shot on Panasonic DVCPro-HD,
whereas the rest were shot on Sony HDCam. There were some problems
with the Panasonic cameras, so they moved over to Sony.
Contrary to popular belief, none of Doctor Who has been shot in HD
yet. Series three, currently shooting, is still standard definition
Digital Betacam.
