I think it depends on your kit. I tried with a Panasonic CRT and changing
between various AV inputs and the Tuner input is BYZANTINE! With a lot of
help from someone on the RemoteCentral forums who uses the name of MSG, I
got it to the point where it worked some (but not all) of the time - so I
gave up. I still use it however on my Sony LCD/DVD/Freeview Settop Box who
have sensible IR codes and it works fine. Do lots of research on
Remotecentral and AVForums with regards to your particular kit and if others
have no problems then you won't have too much difficulty; if experienced
users at these specialised site have problems then consider an alternative
remote.
