So you're using +R discs, and trying to play them in a player that plays -R.
Seems like that's your problem. +R and -R are not the same format, some
players will play one or the other but not both. Many PC DVD drives will
handle both fine. Have you tried using -R discs to burn to (assuming your
burner will handle -R)?
