What is the value of Pan & Scan on DVD Recorders? During playback it seem to
have no effect, What I was looking for was the capability of filling a 4:3
screen when playing a letterboxed movie. I know some players in the past
used a 4:3 pulldown to accomplish this. Can this be done and what options
are required to do this short of buying fullscreen movies or another TV. I
have a Sony 36" HD TV now.
