I wanted you to compare PCM vs MP2 ON THE SAME CAMERA you dip! To prove
the limiting factor is not the compression but the audio section of the
camera...

HDV audio is Mpeg 1 layer II aka MP2. MP3, you guessed it is MPEG 1
layer III ta da!! MP2 NEVER refers to MPEG-2 or MPEG-2 AAC.

NOOBS and hobbyists that might read your drivel and take it as verbatim
I worry about.
