Agreed, but that would indeed be dependent on the DAW. If one would make
several mixes, and then mix down to MP2 and reimport that mix, the errors
would stack. But you know that of course :-) I mean, it would be a bad
thing to do, but sometimes people do stupid things like this.

Well, for those who care about such things, there is always double-system.
Besides, what would be the use to record on 24/96 if you would re-record
the whole dialogue in a studio again? (as done on many features).
