Aren't loaded247 the ones who used to be futureent? They were bastards then
and I'd be very surprised if they had changed their spots.
Cdwow have indeed gone a bit 'funny'. For instance, any time you (I) order a
region-1dvd that they have, but hasn't been in the cinema yet in the UK,
they delay and delay the shipment.
Eg. I ordered Neil Young's Heart of Gold around 2 months before it had a UK
cinema release. They emailed after a week saying it would be delayed for a
few days.
Then they emailed at that deadline, to say 3 more days (or so). ...They did
this one or two more times before I cancelled the order...
This is only the latest/last example of it from them too. I've had it with 5
or more dvds in the past year or 2.
My guess is they did a 'deal' that time they had customs troubles, not to
ship dvds if they are due an immiment UK cinema release. Or something like
that.
Play.com seem to supply most of my online R2 purchases these days. And
books.
Dvdpacific and amazon.com get most of my R1 business.
Of course I buy nowhere near as many dvds as I used to.
