I've seen a lot of fans hyped over last year's arthouse-uncut "Godzilla"
finally making it to 2-disk collector's DVD--
Wasn't sure if anyone knew that Sony Classic Media was going ahead with
giving the same both-version widescreen sub/dub-with-perks treatment to
the other vintage Toho movies, and was already test-marketing them on
their own exclusive promo website until spring:

Just got one of the other two titles in the mail, and not only does it
look GOOD, the fan-historian commentaries are worth the rent.
