I am writing to help someone that has edited a video, but when she
attempted to write it to NTSC DVD, it didn't fit. The original is
approximately 1:23. She used Sorenson's Squeeze 3.5.3 to compress the
video and Avid DVD to format for DVD. The current compressed size is
5.5 GB, 606 MB over capacity.
She is considering using dual-layer DVD. Is that compatible with most
players? Is it feasible to get high quality with better compression
using either Sorenson's Squeeze or another compression program?
Does anyone have suggestions I can pass along?
