Wait a sec... OK, I'm finished laughing! Oh, and my testing is also
done! No difference between the Monster Cable I imagined, and a piece
of string. I've done exactly the "testing" you have, and I can happily
report to the group that the Monster Cable sounded much "spicier" than
the string. Sort of a "pepperier" quality to the digital sound, with
approximately 3.1415 times as much "phlegmaticity". Which I observed
with my own highly, highly trained eyes, ears, and nose. I have been
smelling audio and video components at a professional level since 1980
-- digital since 1989 -- and I can only assume if you don't believe me
that you don't have the refined senses I do, nor have you conducted
the same rigorous testing I have.

When I see or hear a difference, that is all that matters. Measuring
to determine whether there actually *is* any difference is completely
irrelevant. As is checking to see whether I can actually determine a
difference by a double-blind comparison.

I hope this remains a long and continually-amusing thread! Rational
humans like most of us here find absolute crackpots like you to be
pretty damn funny.
