no question. get an hd/hdv and bounce to betas when needed.
for my broadcast work in NY and L.A. DVCPro and DVCAM are the
standards.
other than importing or exporting a reel of b-roll, i never use beta
anymore.
my next cam will be the canon xh-a1.
