Network scan on checks all the transponders on a satellite, not just a
given polarity. You will end up duplicates

My 3688 tended to pick up frequencies off slightly, as well. It would
also tend to get a higher symbol rate than Lyngsat. The higher the
symbol rate the more the symbol rate the 3688 would be off. If the
symbol rate was in the 25000 for a given channel my 3688 would be as
much as 25 or 30 higher. Once I would find an 'unpublished' or backhaul
transmission I would always verify it with another receiver just to make
sure it was accurate before I would submit it to Lyngsat.
