I don't but plenty of people do

They go for 50p or 3 for a pound. I saw one local charity shop selling
them at 5 for a pound

I don't sell any

I never said they sell everything for that price. I got a copy of
Manhunter for £2 last week. Most of it goes for 3 to 4 pounds though.
Newer stuff maybe 7 or 8.

Lord of the rings for a fiver per disk now. ISTR it was close to 19
when first out.

Not everyone has net access and it's cheaper than blockbuster.

How about a copy of say Hannibal?
Anyway you are missing the point.
People will buy these for 3 or 4 pounds. Watch them then take them
back. It's cheaper than renting at Blockbuster as nlong as you don't
want all the latest releases.

I wouldn't buy it anyway. Didn't like it.
Did buy season 1 of charmed for 14.99 and season one of Blakes 7 for
9.99.

They tend to be priced higher. That's why I was surprised to get
Manhunter so cheaply. It's quite hard to come by. I know I could have
ordered it off the net but it would have cost a lot more.

It's better than working for someone else at minimum wage. You are
aware how much a shop worker gets?

Many market traders in this area are clearing about £200 to £300 a
week. Some even less. Some make a lot more. Some even go broke. I
know 2 that went bust losing everything and another who retired to
spain. Lifes like that.
