I believe LSI Logic has a new chip but I do not know anything about it
other than I keep seeing it mentioned as though it is the latest and
greatest thing to come along for the DVD recorder industry.
I cannot tell any difference between 1-hr and 6-hr recordings on my
Insignia NS-DVDR1 (Best Buy house brand made by LG) on my 19" RCA TV.
I am going to burn a DVD test disc for my son to try out on his 62"
DLP. He will use the Philips DVP5960 player with HDMI output.
