My wife and kids are the same way. Once I start a movie, I want the popcorn
popped, the drinks opened and the conversation to go out with the lights.
Watching a good movie is a sacred event, and needs to be treated as such.
My wife will try to talk to me, the kids or talk on the phone, and after 20
minutes say the movie isn't any good and leaves.
I swear everyone in this household must have the attention span of a
light-bulb.
"Besides, 50 dollars never hurt anybody!"
