Yes, the R2 still has headbutts cut, however though I object in principal to
the cuts, I still bought it recently for two reasons:
Firstly because hmv.co.uk currently have it for 14.99 delivered, whereas
the cheapest R1 I could find was DVD Pacific for approx 22.50, plus the
risk of possible customs/PO charges etc. As the film is only cut by about 10
seconds in total, this works out almost 1 per missing second, and lets face
it, it's only a few headbutts.
Secondly, I wanted a PAL version, and the R4 seems to be around 35 before
shipping making those missing seconds about 2 each!
If on the other hand you feel it's worth paying an extra 7.50 for 10
seconds worth of film, plus some lovely jerky 3:2 pulldown bullet-time pans
as a bonus, go for the R1.
