Frank,

I was checking the settings in Premiere last night and I found that the
project I created was indeed PAL. As I live in Europe, this is what I
want.

But I also discovered that the output was set to Microsoft AVI.
I opened the list and saw there was a setting Microsoft DV. When I
choose that one, I can select NTSC DV or PAL DV.

I Choose PAL DV and recreated the movie. It took about 20 minutes to
create the AVI.
This was very surprisingto me, as with the previous setting, it took
about 12 hours !!!!!
However, the files created was about 8 Gb where the previous was -only-
6 Gb. This would be a better quality I'm guessing.

I opened TMPGenc late last night and went to bed. I will check this
evening when I get home from work if the quality is better now. I will
also write another DVD to check the quality on a tv screen. Hope it's
better this time so I can show my colleagues a descent video friday.

Thanx a lot for your advises, you sure were a great help!

P
