Don't know about JVC, but Canon makes a newer HDV camera with 20:1 lens and
HD-SDI output.
HD-SDI routing and switchers are becoming quite inexpensive. Some even
contain built-in scaling to SD.
As I said, check with a good, professional reseller. It's a fast-changing
world...
