The deck plays miniDV tapes just fine, but produces output only on the 
analog output. I hooked a monitor on it and it's okay, i just can't get 
any data on the firewire ports. 
Setting it back won't be a problem, poor thing's never seen a DVCPRO 
tape in it's life, the company masters everything on DVCAM and miniDV 
(guess purchasing a DVCPRO deck wasn't the brightest idea...). 
Anyways, gonna try setting it up tomorrow, see what happens, and post 
the results.
