The deck plays miniDV tapes just fine, but produces output only on the
analog output. I hooked a monitor on it and it's okay, i just can't get
any data on the firewire ports.
Setting it back won't be a problem, poor thing's never seen a DVCPRO
tape in it's life, the company masters everything on DVCAM and miniDV
(guess purchasing a DVCPRO deck wasn't the brightest idea...).
Anyways, gonna try setting it up tomorrow, see what happens, and post
the results.
Thanks for the ideas so far.
