Get the new Philips 5960. My son has one and it is really great. He
has HDMI but he connected it thru Component which is 1080i.

It also has a USB port which is great for hard disks and flash drives.
Get an inexpensive converter cable at:

I would not waste the money on a USB enclosure because they will cause
your disk to overheat. Also be sure to get an external power supply
because the power supplied by the USB port is not adequate for 3.5"
IDE disks.
