That's the whole point.
I basically agree: let them lip synch. There is a certain type of crowd
that prefers the kind of entertainer who has no problem lip-synching.
But cut the bullshit-- it should be required by law that a prominent
label along the bottom of the screen tells you the fact. No false
advertising of a "live" performance.
Then there are others, like me, who would never willingly listen to
these artists anyway, and who are extremely disappointed if someone we
like does it. Would Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Wilco, Damien Rice,
Iron and Wine..... lip synch? Unlikely. So, not a problem for me.
