I have a dialup so am sensitive to download speed.Anyway I understood
that people downloading your files had no effect on your own
uploading-and was quite happy with that.
Well I had someone using one of my files and could see that they
weren't sharing and since it was late at night I sent them a message
,got no answer and shut them down.
I was surprised that my own download speed instantly shot up to its
normal maximum speed (from 900 to 4,500)
Is that to be expected ?Could I have been overloading my computer (as
opposed to the internet connection) to have produced that effect?
