What I got from the way it was worded is since that the the kind of possible
but unlikey snafu you listed wasn't an issue, when doing this alleged
pre-recorded track she didn't care to do it more than once.

Any time there's gear involved there's the potential for a glitch, whether
it's her or memorex. I dunno, if it were me, being a little off pitch in a
couple of spots or a little static or even having the mic die altogether
wouldn't be as bad as risking an Ashlee Simpson-esque episode, especially
for someone like CA who has a rep as a very capable singer.

And again, her mic *was* shown to be live. Why do that if she's not using it
and risk various issues there? That they would A) go to the trouble setting
it up solely for the purpose of B) depending on someone to pot it up at the
very end just so she could whisper 2 words "Thanks Sasha" seems somewhat
implausible.
