OTOH, I have ordered several different things from different eBay
vendors in Hong Kong and it is not unusual for shipments from them
to arrive faster than orders from people in the continental US.

You could also check out http://www.olsenaudio.com/ who are
a made-in-USA supplier of foam and fur wind protection products
at what appear to be very sensible prices.
A fur cover over a "solid" piece of open-cell foam seems like a much
more mechanically sensible arrangement than those things made from
flimsy open frames covered with fabric of some sort.
