So? They're hardly an annoyance. Stop being a "I must have it my way!
Waahhhh!" cry-baby. Most people happen to like them, myself included.

You shouldn't have to. Just about everything you could want should be
available in your Region by now. And even with VHS, the whole PAL/NTSC
video thing would cause problems.

LOL! That's rich coming from a guy who readily admits to watching
"modified to fit your television screen" VHSuck. Talk about
contradicting yourself.
BTW, most DVDs allow you to choose whether you want to watch the
alternate ending(s) or not. Seldom have I come across one that forces
you to do so.

Then don't fucking watch it!

I can't believe you're still refering to pan 'n scan as "standard
screen." What year is your calendar? The 1990s are over. Get with it
already.
> I dont want commercials (I paid for the movie)
Are you refering to the same ones they stuck at the beginning of VHS
tapes? *smack*
> I dont want MP3 music on my DVDs
WTF? I have yet to see a single DVD that has MP3 music on it...

So in otherwords, you hate having to actually use your brain a little
bit. That's too bad. But uhh, good luck with that VHS thing. Maybe you
and a few of your technophobic friends can make a miracle happen and
pull a Jurassic Park on the ancient, obsolete VHS format...
