My dvd recorder alot of times has the sound out of sync with the video
when im recording tv shows from my cable box. but it doesn't seem to
matter. when i finalise the dvd and play it back in the recorder or in
another player the sound and video are in sync. so its a non issue. BUT
their are some dvd recorders that do this and the problem gets recorded
on the dvds. this is because the dvd recorder doesn't have a built in
TBC. aka time base corrector that prevents the sound and audio from
going out of sync. most dvd recorders should have one. but some don't.
hence you get this problem. you can buy a time base corrector to hook up
to a dvd recorder that doesn't have one. but they are damn costly. you
would be better off buying a recorder that already has one built in.
