Here in the states I recently bought a Hitachi TV (model
C21-RF80S) and Daewoo DVD player (model DV6T821N)
from a fellow who purchased them in England while he was
stationed there in the military.
I'm going to set these units up so they work using a rabbit-ear
antenna, not cable TV. My antenna has a coaxial cable that
screws into the Antenna In of the DVD player just fine.
Now it looks like I need a cable to go from the RF Out on the
DVD player to the Antenna In of the TV--but there's where I'm
stumped. The Antenna In on the TV requires a different
connector, a push-on type (not screw-in) with a center-pin.
It looks like I need a short cable with a coaxial (screw-on)
connector for the DVD side, and a slightly larger (push-on)
connector for the Antenna In fitting on the TV.
Does such a cable exist, or can I buy an adaptor that fits on
one end of the coxial cable and allows it to slide onto the
Antenna In fitting of the TV? Thanks.
