There's definitely no place on the TV to screw in a typical
coax connector. The Antenna In "port" says 75-ohm, and
must receive a connector with a center-pin and a sleeve
that simply pushes onto the port.
This Antenna In port is slightly larger than the coax cable,
so it's clearly meant for a different connector/end.
I will ask Radio Shack--thanks for the advice.

Are you sure the connectors are different? A TV coax connector is the
same everywhere.
But if it's not, then try Radio Shack. If you have to, get them to
take the non-standard connector off and put a standard one on. They
will do it for a nominal charge if you buy the new standard connector
from them. Just make sure the person doing the work knows how to do
it.
There are screw-in connectors and you might consider that instead of
having them do it, but a permanent connector is better if it is done
correctly. The hard part is stripping the wire and they should have a
tool to do that properly.
